Before you can enroll in any SB 25-003 course, you must first apply for a Firearms Safety Course Eligibility Card (FSCEC) through Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). What Is Colorado SB 25-003?
Colorado Senate Bill 25-003 took effect August 1, 2026. It generally prohibits the purchase, sale, or transfer of certain semiautomatic firearms — defined as "specified semiautomatic firearms" under the law — unless an exemption applies. One key exemption is completing a state-approved firearms training course. PG Firearms Training is certified to provide both the Basic and Extended SB 25-003 courses.
